How Does It Work
Your initial consultation is an important first step in your aesthetic treatment journey. It gives you the opportunity to meet your practitioner, discuss your concerns, and explore treatment options in a relaxed and supportive environment. Think of it like getting a professional health screening. The purpose isn’t to make you worried, it’s to give you accurate information so you can make informed decisions. Many of our clients report feeling more confident after their analysis because they finally understand their face and have a clear path forward. No treatment is carried out during this appointment until you feel fully informed and happy to proceed.

Step One: Your Initial Consultation
During the face to face consultation, a detailed medical history will be obtained, including any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or previous aesthetic treatments. This helps to ensure that any treatment recommended is safe and suitable for you. A thorough facial and skin assessment will also be carried out to understand your natural features, muscle movement, and skin quality.

Step Two: Consent
You should be fully involved in your treatment decisions. Your goals and expectations will be discussed openly, and all suitable treatment options will be explained clearly. This includes what results can realistically be achieved, as well as the benefits and possible risks. You are encouraged to ask questions and take time to consider your options before making a decision.

Step Three: Treatment
If you decide to proceed, a treatment plan will be confirmed, the process explained and any final questions answered. Treatments are carried out using gentle, precise techniques for a minimum discomfort, and your comfort is checked throughout. You will be guided through each step of the procedure so you know exactly what to expect, helping you feel relaxed, reassured, and in control at all times.

Step Four: Aftercare and Results Monitoring
Aftercare is a key part of achieving safe and successful results. You will be provided with clear, easy-to-follow aftercare advice tailored to your treatment. This includes what to expect after the procedure, how to care for the treated area, and which activities to avoid for a short time. Common, temporary side effects will be explained and when to contact us if you have any concerns. Advice, reassurance, and ongoing support is available 24/7.
Consultation
The initial consultation is a vital step in any clinical aesthetics treatment, forming the foundation for safe practice, effective results, and patient satisfaction. It allows to fully understand your concerns, expectations, and medical history before any procedure is considered.
During the consultation, a detailed medical assessment is undertaken, including past medical conditions, medications, allergies, and lifestyle factors that may influence treatment suitability. A thorough facial assessment is also carried out, evaluating facial anatomy, muscle movement, skin quality, and natural balance. This ensures that treatments are planned safely and tailored to the individual rather than applied using a standard approach.
Equally important is an open and honest discussion. We will explore your aesthetic goals, explain suitable treatment options, and outline the benefits, limitations, and potential risks of each procedure. This conversation allows you to ask questions, express concerns, and take an active role in your treatment planning. Realistic outcomes are discussed to ensure expectations are aligned with what can be safely achieved.
Consent
Consent is a key component of the consultation process. You will be given clear information and adequate time to consider your options before proceeding. No treatment is carried out without informed, voluntary consent.
Treatment
Your treatment will only go ahead once you feel fully informed and comfortable with the agreed plan. Before starting, we will review your consultation together, confirm the treatment area, and all your remaining questions will be answered. Informed consent will be obtained, and the procedure will be explained step by step.
Treatments are carried out using careful, gentle techniques to help minimise discomfort throughout the whole procedure and ensure you are comfortable and relaxed. Most treatments are quick and straightforward, and you will be supported at every stage, ensuring a calm, safe, and positive experience.
Aftercare
Aftercare plays a key role in helping you achieve the best possible results from your aesthetic treatment. As part of your consultation, you will receive all aftercare advice in a clear and easy-to-understand way, so you feel confident once you leave the clinic. This includes guidance on what to expect after treatment, normal, temporary side effects and the signs that may require further advice, how to care for the treated area and which activities should be avoided for a short period of time. 24/7 advice remains available to offer ongoing support and reassurance, ensuring you feel cared for and informed throughout your recovery.
By prioritising a comprehensive consultation, clinical aesthetics practitioners ensure treatments are safe, ethical, and personalised, resulting in natural-looking outcomes and a positive patient experience built on trust and transparency.
